# All settings

Open the header menu and choose **Settings**. Search matches setting titles,
descriptions, and terms such as “nonce,” “passkey,” “RPC,” or “clear signing.”

## Accounts

* Search and inspect accounts without accidentally switching the active one.
* Open account settings to rename, refresh public identity, copy/QR/explorer,
  reveal eligible local secrets, configure smart-account delegation, inspect
  delegated permissions, or remove the account.
* Reorder accounts from the account picker when no search filter is active.
* Add private-key, seed-phrase, Ledger, view-only, Safe, or optional Bankr
  accounts.

## Appearance

Choose the extension's **Midnight** dark theme or **Bauhaus** light theme.
Selection applies immediately and is stored on the local device.

## Sounds

Turn subtle interaction sounds on or off. When enabled, the screen can preview
the cue. Sound reinforces visible feedback and never carries unique
information.

## Security

### Change Password

Verify the current master password, choose/confirm the new password, rotate
protected records, clear other unlock factors, and lock. Disabled in an agent
session.

### Agent Password

See On/Off status; set up with current master proof; review exact allowed and
blocked operations; remove with master proof. See [Agent password](/security/agent-password).

### Biometric Unlock

See loading, Enabled, Off, unsupported, legacy-upgrade, setup, and remove
states. Hidden/blocked in an agent session. See
[Biometric unlock](/security/biometric-unlock).

### Auto-Lock

Choose 1, 5, 15, or 30 minutes; 1 or 4 hours; or Never. Invalid/missing stored
values fall back to 15 minutes. Never requires accepting a stronger warning.

### Shield Recovery

Back up, reveal, copy, replace, or restore the separate Shield phrase; view
balance-at-risk warnings and rescan. Agent sessions cannot enter.

### Clear Signing

Toggle human-readable ERC-7730 summaries. It is on by default. Turning it off
purges cached descriptors; decoded/raw calldata remains available.

## Chains

* Search by network name, chain ID, or RPC host.
* Switch between Active and Hidden lists.
* Show/hide built-in networks and testnets.
* Add, edit, or delete custom networks.
* Manage multiple named saved RPC endpoints per network.
* Select, copy, add, edit, remove, and verify endpoints.
* See endpoint favicon and current/selected status.
* Review wrong-chain or unreachable endpoint warnings and explicitly
  **Use/Save anyway** where permitted.
* Configure the developer-only view-only `eth_sendTransaction` opt-in for the
  selected exact local/fork RPC.

## WalletChan Browser

* Master enable switch.
* Use a local Kubo gateway.
* See gateway checking/online/offline status.
* Pin supported ERC-4804 HTML locally.
* Check Kubo API: checking, OK, CORS blocked, unreachable, or error.
* Edit/reset custom gateway host and port.

This destination is Chromium-only.

## Data

### Clear Transaction History

Load record counts, choose one/many/all accounts, and confirm deletion. An
empty-history state is shown when there is nothing to clear.

### Reset Nonce Cache

Clears WalletChan's local nonce cache and shows a success toast. It does not
cancel a network transaction.

### Clear Chat History

Confirm removal of all local Bankr conversations and see success feedback.
