# Appearance and sounds

## Extension appearance

Open **Settings → Appearance** and choose:

* **Midnight**: dark graphite surfaces with blue interaction and amber
  commitment.
* **Bauhaus**: the expressive light alternate theme.

The extension updates immediately and stores the choice on this device.

## Sounds

Open **Settings → Sounds** to toggle interaction sounds. Cues are limited to
selected outcomes and high-signal transitions such as unlock success, incoming
dapp requests, confirmation presses, action-sheet transitions, and a small set
of deliberate wallet controls.

Routine typing, scrolling, and navigation stay silent. Sound is optional,
rate-limited, and always paired with visible feedback.

## Popup, side panel, and full page

Use the header display menu to open WalletChan in the surfaces your browser
supports:

* Popup for a compact action.
* Side panel for persistent wallet access.
* Full page for more space, Ledger pairing, or detailed review.

Moving between surfaces does not approve or cancel pending requests. The same
durable request can be reopened in another trusted WalletChan surface.

Browser and Arc-specific behavior can limit which choices are shown.
