# Bankr chat

Bankr chat lets a connected Bankr account talk to the Bankr agent without
leaving WalletChan.

## Start a conversation

Open the chat action in the wallet header. Create a conversation and ask about
balances, swaps, DeFi, or another supported Bankr task. Suggested empty-state
prompts are examples, not a limit on what you can type.

## Conversations

* Create a new chat.
* Return to recent conversations.
* Favorite useful conversations.
* Delete one conversation.
* Retry or resend after a recoverable error.
* Follow live status messages while Bankr processes a job.

WalletChan stores a bounded local history: up to 50 conversations and 100
messages per conversation. Empty chats are not saved.

## Lock and authorization

If the wallet locks during a conversation, the error offers **Unlock** and
returns to the same conversation. A chat can prepare or discuss actions, but
any WalletChan transaction or signature still uses its normal review and
authorization boundary.

## Privacy

The conversation context is sent to Bankr to answer the request. Do not paste
passwords, private keys, seed phrases, Shield recovery phrases, or other
secrets.

## Clear all history

Use **Settings → Data → Clear Chat History**. This removes the local WalletChan
conversation records after confirmation; it does not change blockchain state.
