# Stake WCHAN

WalletChan includes the Base WCHAN vault.

## What the screen shows

* WCHAN available to stake.
* sWCHAN vault shares.
* Claimable WETH rewards.
* Seven-day WCHAN, WETH, and combined APY.
* Current early-withdrawal penalty and the estimated zero-fee time.

APY is historical/estimated and can change. A displayed zero is a valid value,
not necessarily a loading error.

## Stake

Choose **Stake**, enter WCHAN or its USD equivalent, use a percentage/MAX
control, and review the expected shares and call plan.

Staking can require an approval followed by the vault deposit. Bankr and
eligible delegated local accounts can batch the calls. Other accounts use an
ordered sequential path.

## Unstake

Choose **Unstake**, enter the sWCHAN/WCHAN amount, and review the current
penalty. The early-withdrawal fee starts at up to 20% and decays linearly over
seven days. Additional deposits update the weighted deposit timestamp, so the
displayed fee-free time can move.

## Claim rewards

Use the rewards action to claim available WETH. Claiming is a transaction and
requires the normal confirmation flow.

## Account differences

* Eligible private-key/seed accounts can use atomic execution and fall back to
  sequential calls.
* Ledger asks for each sequential hardware approval.
* View-only can inspect balances but cannot stake, unstake, or claim.
* Safe staking is not part of the current Safe proposal rollout.
* Bankr can use supported atomic execution.
